Terms of Service for Give a Buck

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Give a Buck website and platform (“Give a Buck”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the platform.


1. About Give a Buck

Give a Buck is an online platform that enables users (“Organizers”) to create fundraising campaigns and allows others (“Donors”) to make voluntary donations to those campaigns.

Give a Buck acts solely as a technical platform provider and payment facilitator, not as a charity, financial institution, or escrow service.


2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Give a Buck.
By using the platform, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.


3. Creating a Fundraiser

Anyone may create a fundraiser, provided that:

Give a Buck reserves the right to remove, suspend, or reject any fundraiser at its sole discretion.

All donations made through Give a Buck are voluntary and non-refundable.

5. Fees

a) Platform Fee

Give a Buck charges a 5% platform fee on each donation to cover operating and platform costs.

b) Payment Processing Fees

Payment processing fees are charged separately by our payment provider (e.g. Stripe) and are deducted directly from the donation amount.


c) No VAT Charged by Give a Buck

Give a Buck does not charge VAT on donations or platform fees.

Organizers are solely responsible for determining whether VAT or other taxes apply to the funds they receive and for complying with applicable tax regulations.


6. Payouts

Give a Buck is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect information or third-party payment providers.

We may suspend or limit access for maintenance, security, or legal reasons without prior notice.


11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Our total liability shall never exceed the platform fees collected by Give a Buck for the relevant donation.

You agree to indemnify and hold Give a Buck harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

Termination does not affect completed donations or outstanding obligations.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
